"Love Made Me open my heart to a boy in a too small shirt, with buckles on his shoes and a twitch. He is my best friend and the father of my future babies."

"Love Made Me open my heart to love a cheater with all my being and although I don't like to be reminded of our past, I still believe that are more good guys than bad out there. When we were together we had some great highs and some very bottomless lows. And in our lows, I felt worthless, alone and broken. And the price I paid for in this tumultuous relationship was losing my livelihood because I couldn't focus on my work resulting in
debt and moving back home. We broke up when I chose my own survival over the insanity of our relationship. My broken heart has healed since and I have learned some big lessons - I know who is worthy of my trust."

"Love Made Me fly 5,000 miles to my native homeland where I experienced what family really was. It was there where I had my first taste of San Miguel Beer and Balut (boiled duck fetus)"

"Love Made Me agree to marry someone with 5 weeks notice, with one of those weeks being Christmas time, and love made me honeymoon in Scotland in winter, with the in-laws, so we could attend his sister's wedding. And the truth is, none of it mattered - the spur of the moment, rushed wedding and the less-than-ideal honeymoon, because in the end, I got the love of my life for the rest of my life."

"Love Made Me propose to my now wife on a float plane flying over the Georgia Strait on an extremely windy and rainy day. Love conquered the nausea and deafening drone of the plane's engine, and it certainly made her say YES!"

"Love Made Me consider an university across the country because of someone I met online. I actually went but met a different person instead, finished my degree, and then moved back out west."

"Love made me leave the city - something I thought I'd never do. Growing up in a small town in Ontario I spent many years just dying to finish high school so that I could get out on my own and move to the city. When I finally did, I swore I'd never be a small town girl again. But then I met my fiance, who lived in a small town in BC. As I spent more time with him, I started to remember some of the things that I liked about growing up in a small town, like fewer traffic jams and being able to see the stars at night. So we made a compromise, and I moved away from the city for love, and I couldn't be happier. And on those days when I do miss the city, I remind myself that at least I enjoy better weather in this small town than I ever did at home."

"Love made me chase a boy down with the same name as the one I originally loved, who died. Eight Jasons later I finally found one that fit."
